The consumption tax in Japan is 10% (8% for some groceries, etc.).

If you make a purchase of 10,000 yen, you must pay 11,000 yen.

If my favorite Apple computer costs 100,000 yen, the tax is 110,000 yen.

The Japanese consumption tax seems a bit high, but it seems that there are many countries where it is much higher.

I am a low-spending person, so it may not matter much to me😁
