Japanese Sign Language has its own dialects.
I live near Tokyo, but far away in Osaka and Kyoto, there are differences in sign language.
The nouns are often different in each area, but the grammar is almost the same.
Therefore, it is not impossible to communicate in sign language.

However, the sign language of "the elderly" and "the young" can be very different.
Sometimes I can't read the signs of the elderly either.

I really enjoy learning the signs of different regions and ages.
In the future, I would like to travel all over Japan and learn the sign language of each region.
I would also like to travel around the world and learn the signs of the world!
