There is a major tutoring school in Japan called "Meiko Gijuku".
It is very popular and the company's performance is strong. I own stock in Meiko Gijuku.
Yesterday, I received a dividend from Meiko Gijuku.
It was only $0.08 (11 yen).
Actually, I only own one stock, so it can't be helped….
In Japan, there is a rule that you have to buy at least 100 shares of stock.
However, some brokerage firms allow you to buy from 1 stock.
I also bought only one stock under this system.
As I was walking around while writing this article on my phone, I saw a Meiko Gijuku school in front of me.
This is interesting.
